The Toshiba MG03ACA/MG03SCA series HDDs are designed to support enterprise applications where reliability, high capacity, and performance are required. The series is ideally suited for data archives and digital records storage, entry and business critical server and storage systems, disk backup systems-including remote sites for data protection and business continuity, and tiered virtual infrastructure for public and private cloud deployments (IaaS and PaaS). With a top storage capacity of 4TB, the Toshiba MG03ACA/MG03SCA HDDs utilize a traditional 3.5-inch form factor, enabling system builders to leverage 3.5-inch based storage chassis. The high-capacity, cost-effective models feature 7,200 RPM spin speed and leading-edge 6Gb/sec Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) and Serial ATA (SATA) interfaces. The new reliable nearline model features a top storage capacity of up to 4 TB in a 3.5-inch form factor and leading-edge 6Gb/sec SAS interface. Intended for 24 x 7 operation, the MG03SCAxxx also includes features that are critical to business operations such as enhanced Error Correction Code (ECC), Anti Rotational Vibration (RV) technology for multi-drive systems, and enhanced power condition state technology. The MG03SCAxxx provides a flexible and cost effective storage solution for enterprise applications including entry-level servers, storage arrays, RAID systems as well as private cloud storage. This series is also available with enhanced secure cryptographic erase function [Models MG03SCP100, MG03SCP200, MG03SCP300 and MG03SCP400], which can invalidate all data saved on the disk in an instant.
