- Overview
The Synology RackStation RS3626xs is a high-performance 12-bay, 2U rackmount NAS storage system designed for enterprise environments, businesses, and data centers. Powered by an Intel Xeon D-1726 six-core processor running at 2.9 GHz with boost speeds up to 3.5 GHz, it comes with 8GB of DDR4 ECC UDIMM memory, expandable up to 48GB. The system features dual 10GbE RJ-45 ports, two PCIe Gen4 expansion slots, and redundant 550W power supplies for reliable operation. It supports SATA HDDs and SSDs, with expansion capacity of up to 36 drive bays using two compatible expansion units. Running Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM), the RS3626xs provides centralized file sharing, data backup, storage management, virtualization support, and business continuity features for demanding workloads.
