The LG Electronics External Super Multi Blue Slim Portable Blu-ray Disc Rewriter features USB 2.0 connectivity with a 6x BD-R write speed. You can simply plug in and record up to 128 GB of files, photos or business documents onto a BDXL (quadruple) disc. With Blu-ray, DVD and CD burning capabilities, the Blu-ray Disc Rewriter gives you the option to choose the media best suited for each task. The Blu-ray Disc Rewriter can read and write four types of disc formats, such as DVD+R, RW DVD-R, RW DVD-RAM and Blu-ray Disc in one convenient package. This gives you the option to choose the media best suited for each task. Blu-ray disc is the next generation in optical storage that offers 25 GB and 50 GB of storage capacity on a disc. The BDXL format supports high-capacity Blu-ray discs (up to 128 GB write-once discs) for users who need to store a large amount of data. M-DISC offers superior reliability in data storage that provides the permanent optical data storage solution. As a disc is being read, Silent Play technology automatically controls the disc read speed for optimal noise reduction. A damaged disc can cause interruptions during movie playback. The Jamless Play technology automatically skips past damaged parts of a disc, maintaining smooth playback and reducing interruptions
