Overview
Lenel's Dual Reader Interface (DRI) module enhances access control solutions by supporting various card readers and keypads that use Wiegand or RS-485 OSDP™ communication. It enables offline access modes for lock, unlock, and facility code functions, accommodating up to 16 card formats for both magnetic and Wiegand cards. The DRI connects the Intelligent System Controller (ISC) to the card reader and enables multi-drop configurations of up to 32 modules over distances of 4,000 feet. Each module features eight inputs for various circuit types and six output relays for fail-safe or fail-secure operations, improving reporting capabilities with OnGuard® software.
