In addition to enhanced data transfer rates, you also benefit from a 4k random read speed of 90,000 IOPS and a 4k random write speed of 75,000 IOPS. This mSATA solid state drive consumes far less power than the traditional hard disk drive helping to lengthen the battery life of your computer. Along with reduced power consumption, this drive also features an AES 256-bit encryption engine and comes compliant with Microsoft eDrive, TCG Opal 2.0 and IEEE-1667 authentication standards.
