With the ability to be deployed in both central office and remote terminal locations, the SM5 10 GE provides flexible network deployment options, easily scaling to support applications such as Enhanced Broadband, IPTV, VoIP, Metro Ethernet, service aggregation, and next generation Optical Network Edge (ONE) using 10 G Network Interfaces and Ethernet Ring Protection Switching (ERPS) support for network transport.
