Durability, mobility and power efficiency are combined with a design approach focused on enhancing the environmental soundness of the MK6459GSX by decreasing or eliminating the use of certain toxic, hazardous or controversial chemicals in the drive. In addition, power consumption can be reduced by more than 80% with the MK6459GSX over like-capacity 3.5-inch hard disk drives, making the MK6459GSX ideal for notebook, all-in-one and EnergyStar desktop PCs, printers, set top boxes, video surveillance systems, external storage devices and other computing applications.
