Castlewood ORB 2.2GB removable storage drive is perfect for a variety of applications that require the storage of large amounts of digital data, including content authoring, like CAD/CAM, graphic design, publishing and multimedia presentations, and editing of content, like music and video, MP3 Audio, DV, MPEG-2. Information technology (IT) markets can use ORB drives as a way to easily and quickly increase PC storage, and for backing up employee files and digital electronic sales via Web sites. Each 3.5" ORB disk stores up to 2.2GB of data. That is equivalent to: up to 2 hours of MPEG-2 (2 Mb/sec) compressed video, 30 hours of MP3 compressed audio, over 3 hours of CD quality un-compressed audio, 2, 348 pictures (640 x 450, 24-bit/pixel, full color), 3 CD-ROM games. Just one ORB disk equals 22 100MB disks, or over 1500 1.44MB floppy disks! Plus, there is no limit to the number of times an ORB disk can be recorded.
