Overview
The Sony SNC-CH160 is a tough outdoor IP camera designed for monitoring in harsh conditions. The camera's IP66-rated casing protects it from rain and wind, while the integrated heater prevents damage in low temperature conditions. Additionally, the camera features a switchable day/night filter, providing color images in daylight and monochrome, infrared-sensitive footage at night, as well as 21 integrated IR LEDs for monitoring images in complete darkness. High definition video is available, producing clear, crisp 720p images at 30fps, perfect for identification of people and objects in view. The camera also includes Easy focus/zoom for easy view setup and Power over Ethernet support simplifies installation by removing the need for an additional power cable. The camera is ONVIF compliant and can be integrated quickly with other ONVIF security devices. DEPA intelligent motion detection also helps to reduce false alerts by detecting objects in view rather than conventional motion. H.264 video compression reduces the size of recorded video without the need to lower image quality, while the included Realshot Manager Lite records footage to a Windows PC at no additional cost.
