Overview
The P3365-VE 2MP Outdoor Dome Camera from Axis Communications uses a 1/2.8" progressive-scan CMOS sensor for 1920 x 1080 resolution at 30 fps, and it features a 3-9mm varifocal lens for a 100° to 35° horizontal field of view. An integrated mechanical IR cut filter will automatically switch between color and B&W video, enabling clear images in various lighting conditions. Additionally, wide dynamic range offers high-quality images in ambient lighting, and color, brightness, sharpness, contrast, backlight compensation, and white balance settings allow you to configure your camera based on various environments. The camera also comes with built-in analytics, such as motion detection, audio detection, active tampering alarms, autotracking, and line crossing. When any of these events occur, the camera will send you an email notification or store video recordings of the event to your edge storage. The camera compresses footage using H.264 and MJPEG formatting, maximizing your bandwidth and storage. Additionally, video can be streamed in multiple individual streams, and frame rates and bandwidth are controllable for further customizing your network. A microSD slot supports on-site recording, however, the camera can also record remotely to a dedicated NAS. The network is secured with a number of safety features, including password protection, IP address filtering, and HTTPs encryption. PoE technology allows you to transfer both data and power over the same Ethernet cable, minimizing the amount of cables needed during installation, and the camera's housing is IP66-rated weatherproof and IK10-rated impact resistant for use outdoors and in high-risk settings. A terminal block offers an alarm input and output for adding an external alarm to your surveillance system, and 1/8" inputs and outputs provide 2-way audio.
