Overview
The P5532 is ideal for monitoring outdoor locations such as storage yards and transport terminals. 360° pan and 90° tilt are available, capturing events from all around the camera, while the 29x optical zoom lets camera viewers easily identify people and objects at a distance. No additional housing is required for outdoor use since the camera casing is IP66-rated, protecting it from the elements. Power is also supplied to the camera using High Power over Ethernet, simplifying cable installation while allowing the camera to be installed in remote locations without a local power source. Color video is captured during the day as well as infrared-sensitive monochrome footage at night, providing a true 24 hour monitoring solution (IR lighting required for low-light monitoring). SD memory card recording removes the need for additional recording equipment, with H.264 video compression able to reduce the size of recordings without impacting on image quality.
