Overview

Manage power connections efficiently with the Juniper Networks High-Capacity 2520-Watt AC Power Supply, compatible with the Juniper Networks SRX5400 and SRX5600 Services Gateways. These services gateways are configurable with two, three, or four AC power supplies or two or four DC power supplies, but the gateway cannot be powered from AC and DC power supplies simultaneously. The power supplies are located horizontally at the rear of the chassis and connect to the midplane, which distributes the different output voltages produced by the power supplies to the services gateway components, depending on their voltage requirements. Each power supply is cooled by its own internal cooling system. Redundant power supplies are hot-removable and hot-insertable. The services gateway must be running Junos OS Release 12.1X44-D10 or later in order to use this high-capacity AC power supply. The Juniper Networks SRX5400 and SRX5600 Services Gateways are carrier-grade next-generation firewalls (NGFWs) that deliver outstanding protection, market-leading performance, six nines reliability and availability, scalability, and services integration. These devices are ideally suited for service provider, large enterprise, and public sector networks.
